It's worth it though, love going back and looking at the pictures I took. Makes me smile :D
Be prepared for picture-vomit though! No, not a picture of vomit. Pictures-vomit. Geddit? Nevermind. I'm sorry it's only a very brief and short post (albiet a lot of pictures), I've posted this on Facebook and I feel like I'm repeating myself. Heh*

Woke up early in the morning, where the beach was deserted. Note: Tourists (esp westerners) only come out after 11am when the sun is at its brightest and hottest. (Y)

Mom dared me to run on this shaky bridge. Lol :0

Lunch at Madam Jeed's. Best lunch there, the food was so authentic and just extremely satisfying :)

Went for foot reflexology for the first time! Expected myself to laugh the whole time, lol. But I didn't, it was gooooood (Y)

The McDonald's in Thailand has waaay more variety than here. They have pork, too :)

It was the perfect beach getaway vacation. If I were to dream about a beach vacation, this would be it. :)

Interiors and homes I abslutely adore.

So when it comes to interior design and stuff as such, I go weak in the knees for white-washed, vintage, French and European-esque designs. I'm particular about colour schemes and arrangements/positions of furniture and such. Enjoy! :D

I yearn with all my heart for this French window bed! This is my ABSOLUTE dream bed. So dreamy. I would change the bedsheets to something cream-coloured or beige. And maybe have gorgeous lace curtains on the window. Gosh look at me ramble about this!


Mmmmm. Love the vintage clearglass shoerack ~~+ all the platforms and slingbacks in there ;)~~!

This is a bit modern for my liking, but I like the natural lighting in here. And also how the artwork behind the bed is designed as to not clutter the room. It almost seems minimalistic!

This is so beautiful, but it must be quite frustrating when it comes to cleaning the nooks and crannies in between the branches eh? :\ I don't get the boas on the floor too. How odd :S

A secret hideout! Aww so cute :) I love how the faded pink curtains give it a homey feel. It would be so country if it's painted white with a bit of wooden grains showing through :)

How whimsical and dreamy! A cross between Victorian and New York! Love the mustard colour scheme.

Such a lovely idea. I can only imagine how romantic this would be. Hee :)

Hello hello! Firstly, here's a massive apology for shamelessly leaving my blog to rot, only with you few good people checking back and reading it. Here's to you, you good good people! *toasts champagne* :) Anyhoos, here's a treat for you fellow inhabitants of my not-anymore dead blog (I hope)! I've edited and filtered every picture here, so you'd better appreciate them! :P

Last Sunday was my Dad's 40th anniversary since the day he graduated from high school. Yes he was from Chung Ling High School! Comment if you're from Chung Ling okay! :D And no, you didn't read wrongly, it is his 40th anniversary. Don't count please, he's that old. But never old at heart, as he constantly reminds me :P
His class of 19-something threw a get-together, visited their alma mater and all that jazz. The family was invited, so we went and invited some friends too bhahaha. It felt like we were crashing the "party", but the uncles and aunties were all so gracious about it, so yay! All is good, lol :) I'll just run you through the event with accompanying pictures, I'm lazy!

Did I fail to mention that Dad, XiaoWen and I joined the darts mini competition? It was my first time at darts during the practice round and I was mortified, it was a nightmare! But then came the actual competition among all the ~~elderly~~ older men and women, and I won second place (by the grace of God haha)!

I won a skipping rope! I was ecstatic as it has been on my To Buy list for quite awhile now, on top of 'hula hoop'. *Hinthint* ;)

003 Next up was the apple-biting competition. I'm sure you get the drift - get a partner, no hands allowed, first to finish the apple wins.

004 Mom and Dad joined too! Haha I wish I didn't join so I get to watch them! Must've been hilarious, teehee.

005 Us and our very strategic endeavor. It was a good strategy okay! I'll hold the apple in place, XiaoWen will eat it :)

006 Guess what? We won first place bahahha :D Okay mostly because everyone else dropped their apples, but regardless, first place is first place! We won a 'Figure Twister'! I was so excited, I thought it was Twister as in the party game (I've wanted that as long as I have lived), but this was not too shabby a prize! It's fun, I've been spinning on it while watching Gossip Girl and when Mom asks what am I doing, I shout "I'm working out!"(Y) :D

007 KheenHo and LiYen. The CHARM cheerleaders who stay over at my place once every two weeks or so. How cute are they? :)

See the pink on second from right, second from top? I wanted that the moment I laid eyes on it! But apparently it's a different kind of kayak, which is the 'sit-in' one, which makes it dangerous if I capsized. And I'm so deathly afraid of capsizing, I think if we happen to fall into the water, I'd die of shock and panic before I die of drowning! So we chose the sit-on one instead. *Beams* :)

011 XiaoWen would be happy to see evidence of me not contributing anything to the rowing, haha! I would row for about 30 seconds and then put down my oars, lol. In my defence, I'm not an avid kayak-er or generally any sport which requires upper body strength. I promise you I have zero upper body strength. It's quite sad, and everyone in my family teases me about it. I am deeply affected by this :'(

Hello hello!
So today I followed Mom to the hair salon, and I was supposed to get a trim but then I decided to get curls :O Haha.

Well I really like it. My previous hair was just flat and pin straight, I really can't stand flat hair, if anything! I used to spend ages applying volumizer and hairsprays just for it to have that pretty bounce so many girls have (Grr @ you if you have naturally soft and bouncy hair!) :( And it only lasts like 1 hour because my hair is just so persistent! Btw, this is my first time actually doing something to my hair, like.. I've never gotten it dyed, straightened, crimped, etc. No more pure virgin hair :(((
So here's to my new hair, yay! :)

Here's wishing all my readers Happy Mommas' Day! I don't think any moms are reading this, except for my mom :DDD Hello mommy :)
We celebrated Mothers' Day @ Edoichi, Island Plaza this year.

The food here is truly spectacular! The pictures themselves are self explanatory ;)

This is the most amazing salad in the world. Okay, one of the most amazing :P

Soft shell crab salad. The dressing, as I quote Belle, is "simply devine".

I quote NiWen after she ate it, "THIS IS HEAVEN OMG" :P

Deep fried salmon with cheese and mayo. There is nothing like it!

It's crispy at some parts :D I really enjoyed this one hee :)

My mom means the world to me. Truly, without her little comments and cheer-me-ups, I would never have had the strength to take on another life bullet again. My mom is the one who has instilled in me (and my sisters) the power of love, and really proved to us that love conquers all :) You can be the poorest family in the state, but with the abundance of love of a family, truly I think that you are richest there and then :)
My mom is a perfectionist, even to the smallest detail like making sure everything on the dining table is served hot. I, for one, don't care how cold my chicken is, I will still eat it! :P But my mom would never allow that haha! She wants nothing but the best for us (my sisters and I) :]
My mom is one of the funniest people I know, and I'm sure people who know her could not agree more :) She is not afraid of making herself look or sound silly. At the same time, she is the kind of woman whom people treat with love and respect. She is a mom to my sisters and I, even my friends and her friends' kids :)
That is the kind of woman she is, looking out for both family and friends. A mom to all :)

I love you so much, Mom.

Anyways, this post is what I've promised two posts ago, where I said I'll be doing nail polish swatches the next post. Yes I know. I lied (twice) because I didn't do it the next post (blame Mon :P), PLUS this post isn't about nail polish swatches. *hangs self* D:
HOWEVER! It's something very close to nail polish swatches -- NAIL POLISH :D
Yes, girl (and you non-heterosexual guy) -reading-this-post, I am gonna show you my nail polish collection thus far *cue nostalgic music* D:

First off, I'll show you my base coats and top coats.

Waitwaitwait. The nailpolish second from left is GENIUS.

Even Steph says so! I quote "miracle nailpolish" :O It's basically a foundation nailpolish, where it covers your ridges on your fingernails (especially when you don't buff them very often), and make them smooth! :D It dries in literally 10 seconds. I am not even close to exaggerating!

Google it and discover the wonders of Nail Tek Foundation II :P

And as you can see, I devour SkinFood's topcoats. They don't dry as well, but the end results are (almost) always worth it :) The one in the middle belongs to NiWen, and as you can see it says "2 FOR RM3.50"! Filthy cheap, and surprisingly pleasant! I have no idea where that is from, but I use it on my toenails only, idk why :) The one on far left is from Etude House, a (very) pink shop next to TopShop @ Queens.

The pinks.

I don't use pinks that much, if ever. I don't really know why, I just reckon it makes my skin look yellower in comparison :\ Not a fan :)

Reds

I enjoy looking for the perfect red, and am still looking for a good creme red with a glossy (but not shimmery finish).

The China Glaze (2nd from left) is Ruby Pumps, which is almost the same as OPI's Alice In Wonderland collection's red, called 'Thanks So Muchness!'. Gorgeous, but an irritating mess when removing the colour from your nails >:(

The Shimmers

I really really REALLY do not like shimmers, hence the very few that I own. Like the pinks, I don't use shimmers at all. :) Some may like the glitter in it, but I just think it makes your nails look tacky and somewhat.. cheap, for the lack of a better word :\

Neutrals

I don't wear a lot of neutrals, only during French Manicures.

But I'm starting to like them a lot these days. It gives me a sense of sophistication :P

And God knows I need that :(

Browns

I love browns. I am currently wearing the one on the left, and it makes my nails look totally edible! :P Like rich milk chocolate ~~yum yum~~.

(Okay I actually really dislike milk chocolate. Yes, milk chocolate, white chocolate, etc. Only dark chocolate :D I don't HATE it per se, but y'know, I'd rather not :P)

Colours

I wear bold colours on my nails A LOT. I've always been known as "The girl with green/purple/yellow/orange nails", but then again, it changes most of the time, so I now go around with hot pink nailpolish and no one bats and eyelid :P HAHA!

My Dad loves the dark green (fifth from right), and so do I! It's such an excellent colour, and so rare. I've never seen anyone wearing that shade of green. I do know a lot of people who own the apple green from Skin Food (6th from right) though :)

But they're very rarely in this condition unless I am really indecisive about what colour I want to wear and then just rummage everything out and swatch them on my fingernails. :(

So organized, I know :D:D:D But I'm running out of space because I keep adding more to my collection. So I've switched from chocolate boxes to shoeboxes to bigger shoeboxes :P

Top Row: SkinFood nailpolishes (I adore SkinFood. Amazing nailpolish formula and affordable price! :D)

Second Row: China Glaze, OPI, Face Shop -I really don't like Face Shop's formula because it clumps up and dries out really fast. Grr. Like gimme back my money yo >:(

Third Row: Some nailpolishes from SASA (only RM8.90!), Revlon, Elianto (clumps up a lot too D: I've thrown out a couple of Elianto's polishes because it literally hardens! But can't demand for much cos it really is cheap! Err RM5 I think?)

This is what fits now, but I need a new box because I just ordered a few more China Glazes from Berry Spree. You can order them too! You know how everyone always has that one friend who is quiet, but when they say something, it's (almost) always funny?!
You don't? :( Okay nevermind, cos I do :P

Mon is the kind of person you would love immediately, not because she's such a lovable person/ has a sparkling personality/ etc (I'll get to that later, don't worry Mon haha!) - simply because she's so frgn gorgeous. I don't know about you, but I love gorgeous people! (Edit: After reading that, I realised how stupid I sound, but shut up and read on okay :P)

However, Mon's not the kind of girl who basks in her beauty and utter glory of her golden locks/big brown eyes/flawless face. You wouldn't believe this, as how I wouldn't if you told me, but she doesn't get the clue that she's totally goodlookin :D
No, I know too many girls who go "Naah, I'm not pretty one la. I'm a size 6, so fat right." !@#$%. Mon's modesty is too overwhelming to the point where Carol, Jan, Mei and I get pissed off at her. Sorry Mon :P

She is also on of the funniest person I have ever met. Period. She is a stupid-ideas-and-phrases bank :P Memorable quotes:
"DO you hungry?" Omgsh I nearly fell over laughing when Jan told me this looool.

Mon is the kind of person who will always be on your side, no matter what crap you screwed up. She appreciates the little things in life, and gets over excited over a little post it on her table (or when I drew her school table with chalk. Okay so she wasn't 'excited' about that, but it was funny so yes, worth mentioning :P). She won't be hesitant to throw insults at the person who has hurt you (I know this isn't a plus point, but it is oddly consoling for the vulnerable individual okay! *defensive mode* :P).

She gives ~~terrifying~~ gooooooood (yes even better than coughSerncough :P EDIT: SERN GIVES THE BEST PIGGYBACKS IN THE WORLD. Happy? ILOVEYOU :P) piggybacks! I don't know where she gets all the strength. I even have a video of her giving me a piggyback and running in circles till I get dizzy and fell off :S This woman, is one psycho ass.

HOWEVER, :D this post wouldn't be complete if I didn't embarrass Mon in some way :P

She thinks she's super hardcore. I was going through my albums, and lookie what I found bhahahahha epic :P You think you so cool huh Mon. Huh? HUH?!

So you see, although she treats me like dirt..

I gladly accept her when she comes running back to me.

I've compiled a wishlist for some time now, and Ira's tweet on neon watches inspired me to write up a blogpost on my wishlist! :D
They're all really random so here goes:

1. Nixon Time Teller Watch
This is the watch Randy has been wearing on Idol during the Audition weeks! I must say, the man has good taste when it comes to watches cos I absolutely adoooore this watch and I want it so badly! *googly eyed* 0:)

2. Pop Art Toaster
How amused would your guests/friends be when you serve them this for breakfast or tea? :D So adorable! I really want this! :D Not a necessity, but definitely a looker! :D

3. Kuretake Handmade Mini Envelope Template
If you are a close friend, or simply a friend, you would know that I am a cardmaking fanatic. I find every opportunity to make a card :) And if you are a regular card maker, you would know how difficult it is looking for a perfect envelope to match/fit your card. If I have the Kuretake envelope template, I could use ANY paper (designed, magazine paper, metallic paper, cardboard, etc) to make an envelope of ANY size I want :D Hence, problem solved yay :)

4. Paul Frank iPhone case! Pretty self explanatory. :D

5. Digital Blue LEGO 3MP Digital Camera
Ahh so cuuuute :D THIS IS NOT A TOY! It's a functional 3megapixel cam with LCD screen :O :O Okay this isn't technically on my to-buy list, because I don't see myself actually paying £59.99 (RM300) for it. How awesome is it to just have different coloured streaks to school everyday! *mock advertorial shock* :O

Just the packaging itself brings me to remove the money from my wallet haha. I would love to have this in my bag! Too cute. :) Besides, Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Adam Lambert use it loool! :P

9. MINX NAILS!

I've wanted this forever! If you are a huge fan of nailpolish and own 572038470234 OPI, ChinaGlaze, Essie, Orly, Skinfood nailpolishes, you MUST look at the website! Phenomenal :D I'm crazy about reflective, chrome and metal-surface nails.

10. Zoe Chicco Hug & Kiss Necklace

Stunning signature piece! :) Spotted on Lea Michelle (Rachel in Glee) too. I'm a sucker for statement necklaces, necklaces with initials, statement bibs, etc. :D

As much as I love this piece, I am ~~pretty~~ very sure I will not pay RM1580 for it!

This post is a little late, but I love Red Carpet moments at Oscars and Academy Awards! Here are a few of my favourites and.. notsofavourites, for the lack of a better word.

Top Two Favourites.
Cameron Diaz in an Oscar de la renta gown. Love her 90's hairstyle, this is so Hollywood glamour, she looks smokin :) Yes, this dress is very Taylor Swift, but I reckon it works! Truthfully I've always been a fan of Cameron Diaz on red carpets; she carries herself awfully well :)
Anna Kendrick. Love the offshoulder blush pink dress and the lace details at the bottom. I like how her hair complements her romantic look :) Nice minimalistic accessory, not that she needs it with this gorgeous dress.

(L) Penelope Cruz looks fabulous, I love this shade of red, but I personally think this dress is a bit too safe for her.

(R) Kristen Stewart! In a red carpet worthy dress. Confidence is the best accessory and she's lacking it. She looks somewhat uncomfortable :\

I forgot her name. Wait, let me check.
Carey Mulligan in Prada. As much as I like the beading at the top, I'm not into the asymmetrical hem. And wrong shoes!

I normally don't like chiffon-looking material, but I think this dress on Rachel McAdams looks exquisite :) And maybe I'm biased cos it's Rachel McAdams :P

Favourite actress EVER.

Love her movies, not the dress. Not getting her hair, her facial expression and her make up. She needs to get her eyebrows done pronto. Sorry, Sandra B :(

I love SJP as much as any other Sex & The City fan, but she looks as if her tanning session went wrong. She's ORANGE. Can't say I'm a fan of the Chanel dress either.

Beautiful colour, wrong dress. The top of the dress is not fashion forward, it's simply questionable.
Besides, it doesn't fit her body well. I still love the colour though.

I've always loved valentine's day, I don't know why. Some people may find it aggravating to be single and seeing everyone else receiving flowers, but I personally find it therapeutic in a way hahaha. In what sense, I do not know :\ In high school, I used to make a vday card for everyone in my class! Yes, Valentine's Day is also a day to remember your friends. Why not, I say! :D

As a pre-Valentine's Day present, WeiSern gave me a brand new cordless phone :D

Yes, we do talk on the phone pretty often, every night. And both our phone bills had been crazy high for so many months. So my very ingenious boyfriend decided to buy me a cordless phone. Haha can you believe that I've never owned a cordless before?! I know, I am medieval. So sad :(
But I have the most thoughtful boyfriend so yay to that! :)

Chinese New Year is around the corner (what corner? D:) and last week we had an annual CNY dinner with a few family friends. What's CNY dinner without steamboat & yeesang? Haha :)

Dad prepared the yeesang and he added salmon, guava and made "special and one-of-a-kind" (so he says) wasabi sauce in it ohmaagaaaad it was awesomeeeee :D Haha such a brilliant idea, no? It tasted like heaven, no joke. My dad is such a genius haha! It was my second time having yeesang. The first time was with WeiSern and his family during a CNY Vietnamese cuisine lunch last year :)

I was initially contemplating whether or not to wear a maxi dress, as I thought it would be too much. Thank God I wore that, or I would've stood out like a sore thumb. Everyone was so gorgeous and well-dressed. It's nearly impossible to overdress at that event haha! It was somewhat boring, except for the RM100,000 grand prize lucky draw. Haha probably wouldn't attend again next year unless someone (coughKyliecough) does :P

My last post has inspired me to blog about fashion. Haha here's another.

My Top 6 Fashion Wishlist/Musthave
This is just basically what I feel every girl needs in her closet now. I say now, because I know trends can fade or grow tacky and all that, so yes. To avoid future embarrassment, I say NOW :P
And I say wishlist because some I do not have yet. *hint* :P

1. Bodycon / bandage dresses

I think these dresses really accentuate your curves, and they're fun to wear :)

It's not slutty, but it's not boring, that's for sure.

I can't get enough of bodycon dresses. Five is simply not enough, trust me on this!

2. Oxfords

I do not own even one pair of Oxfords! :'(

These will make your legs longers. Fo' sho'!

So much better than heeled boots, because boots just cut off your legs length. Boo to boots!

3. MaryJanes!

I only have one pair of MaryJanes, in olive green. How distasteful huh! HAHA I want one in black :)

(NiWen thinks heeled MJ's are just.. "wrong". I completely disagree!)

Flat MJ's.

The MaryJanes I wore in Aussie belongs to my aunt. Do you love it or what! I would get one exactly like that except that it's DKNY and costs like.. RM1000? Mmm. I'm still on the lookout for something which looks similarly like that :)

4. High waisted skirts

I don't own any panel skirts, and I blame it on my figure haha. Panel skirts look best on lanky but shapely girls, and I unfortunately am not a size 0 :P Haha but if I have a figure like the model in the picture, trust me; panel skirts would be my number one fashion must have! I love admiring people who wear this, because however you wear it, it just looks equally stunning :)

(b) Tiered / flared skirts

There's a stall outside MPH which sells the most gorgeous printed skirts in the world! The prices are RM59, 69, and 79, according to lengths :) I bought a highwaisted tulip skirt in Parkson recently during the sale, and it was about RM60 after discount. It's absolutely versatile, and you can either dress it up for the night, or dress it down for classes :)

I recently bought the one in the first picture from Oh, popsicles! Blogshop. It's absolutely gorgeous! Lovelovelove it :)

I also bought the one in the second picture above, from Dudes & Duchess Online Shop. It costed only RM32 with postage! Cheapest I've seen so far, so definitely a bargain. There are two more left in this blogshop, so get it quickly if you want!

Honestly, I do not know if this is a phase for me, or am I still going to wear all my highwaisted skirts in 5 years time, but for now, I am loving it! :)

5. Leggings / Jeggings

There is an endless debate about jeggings (JEANS OR LEGGINGS?!), and I fully support the invention of jeggings! Brilliant, I say.

How comfy are they?! Gosh, it looks so unique and awesomeeee *googly eyed*

Leggings are a must have in every girl's closet. Definitely. I think I own five similar black leggings alone lol.

You can wear literally anything with leggings haha :) It's a life saver.

6. Hairbands

I, for one, am obsessed about hairbands, and I own almost 60, haha. "But you only have one head!" - Tim.

My favourite in the picture is most definitely the one in the middle, the yellow one! :)

It's such a fashion statement, and I wear a hairband everyday without fail. Haha obsessive much? :P

For me, I've never liked blazers, jumpsuits, anything leather/faux skin, but since the beginning of last year I was really into mmm, the edgy and more in-your-face kind of style haha :S I've been trying to give my wardrobe a makeover, and am still in the process (Aren't we all? :P) haha. Last month, I bought 6 high waisted skirts in two weeks. There are only a few things a girl can't control, but shopping is most certainly one of them! Can I get an 'Amen'? :P

HOW EFFORTLESS DOES SHE LOOK?!

I really don't know whether to hate or love her :\ I love this hoodie, and how she styled it in such a way that it looks fresh from the runway.

I am in love with too many outfits of hers, but I HAVE TO SAY, that this is my absolute favourite, hands down :) I love this Hermes tote, and how she paired up a Missoni semi-trenchcoat-looking top with just plain solid stockings. I love this whole look :)

Damn, I just reread my whole post, and I've used the word 'love' nine times. No, I am not suffering from a limited range of vocabulary. She is definitely my style icon, for now at least :)

I know I seem obsessed, but it's perfectly acceptable (hahanot) in this case lollol. Especially when she's only 25, but has gained excess as a regular at fashion weeks held all over the world. I have a new toy. :D I had this when I was like seven, and labelled everything in the house. But I couldn't find it, and when I saw it at MPH two weeks ago, I had to get it! :D I was so excited.

WEDNESDAY (Two days ago)
Went for a spa retreat with WeiSern @ HerbaLine, Gurney. His Mom gave us a treat, hee. Is she extremely nice or what! :D
It was a package deal, which was inclusive of :

1. A foot scrub/exfoliating thing,
2. A facial with extractions and steamer,
3. An arm & shoulder massage, and
4. A fish spa treatment *was super excited for this haha!* :D

The exfoliating thingy. It was exactly like the one at the pedicure place I go to, Nails Hansen :)

I couldn't take pictures of the facial and everything, because we were supposed to turn our gadgets off (considering it's a spa-like atmosphere). We were separated into individual facial cubicles/rooms, and were required to change into this.. sarong-like garment. Awkward moment there.. heh heh. :\

Imagine I just took everything off. She'd be like whoah eager/desperate much? :P

Anyways moving on, the whole facial + massage was good, except the extractions. I'd prefer & stick to my normal facialist, as I've been to her for a long time and she'd know my skin type, conditions and stuff. Whereas the beautician here does the same procedure for everyone, I reckon.

My favourite part of it all :P

The whole thing is definitely relaxing and the aromatherapy & music certainly made the atmosphere more exclusive. I would (and did) recommend people there, especially people aged 12-19! There's an ongoing promotion for teenagers which only costs RM48/pax :)

It's worth it, trust me. Can't get any cheaper. Go with friends for more fun :D

Haven't been playing tennis for a long time, slightly more than a year! :O
Went for a short one-hour game yesterday morning with XiaoWen, NiWen and KheenHo (the CHARM cheerleader!).

The year twothousandnine is coming to a close in just 6 more hours.
If you are one of those people who felt like.. Omgsh what happened to the rest of the year?! *panichyperventilatedieeeee*, don't worry cos you're not alone! At least, that's what I thought. But if you really take time to think about what you have done, ~~even~~ especially little things, you'll be quite surprised, and maybe even impressed! *gives reader a pat on the back* :)

I thought about what have I achieved, with God's provision and guidance, this year.

1. Go for my first mission trip to Sabah! This was truly a dream experience because I knew I was experiencing such a big task, and that made me grow in many ways. This was where I got to marvel at how God can guide me as an individual and also mold me as a servant and disciple.

2. Spend more time with my family. And to think that I can't love them anymore, they prove me otherwise :P How cheesy of me, but they are truly so supportive and they're a huge anchor for me, even attitude-wise :) It truly is unconditional love :D Blood is always thicker than water :) Well except in certain cases :P

3. Have more maturity & patience (I hope! :P). But I guess some close ones would agree with me on this, not saying that I'm super mature in the way I act & talk (I'm completely opposite, if anything!), but more in the sense that I can rationalize and have debates in my head to give someone the benefit of doubt. I have had so many confrontations this year, it's not even funny. Some are mild ones, some are serious ones, I've even had serious confrontations with someone else's parent. Yes it was that serious! Haha but that really groomed me in an alarming way :)

Okay wait I'll continue this post later :P Gotta go get ready for New Year's Eve dinner at Auntie Cynthia's! Hello 3491284792384pounds! Lol :D

DAY 3
Went for a pleasant long walk all the way to Maling Road. The sun was shining, I wasn't sweating, Ash wasn't pooping.. It was fun! :) Haha. Another thing I love about Melbourne is how strangers greet you on the streets. I love it! Sometimes you can even stop completely and start an actual conversation ~~with hot guys~~. Heh heh :P

Met up with one of my psychos (Monica Shenton :P) some time last week, and she was all.. "Kai.. your blog is pathetic. I scrolled down reading the Day 1 post and I'm like.. that has got to be the shortest Day 1 post ever!" I burst out half laughing & half apologising! :P

So here I am to make it up to you with a longer & more elaborate post! :))
DAY 2

Since I was researching about tourist spots on Melbourne before going over, one place I really wanted to visit was the art market. So my cousin Pei insisted on bringing us there on the very first day! Woke up at 5am Malaysian time, and considering the fact that I only arrived in Melbourne at 1am the previous night, you could be damn sure I was dead tired. GG :\

Happy Sunday, readers! :)
In the midst of exams, and the next paper is on Wednesday, Chemistry Paper 2. This, my friends, is the most dreaded paper of them all. I haven't exactly started studying for Chem. I don't know what's wrong with me. I blame it partly on the schedule, which is quite well-spread out, allocating about 5-6 days in between each paper. So I keep telling myself that there are plenty more time left. Not good. :(

Anyways! On a brighter note, I am currently in the process of revamping my blog template! Can I get a woop woop? :D
I really can't decide between three options, so I'm creating an online poll on my blog so that you readers can vote for your favourite template! Personally, though, my favourite is the one with the bird. Haha so adorable :)

Run For The Nation (RunNat) 2009

Organised by a network in Malaysia, every state has several teams to run throughout the whole state. Penang alone has about 200+ people running, and that morning, there were thousands of other people running with us in other states! I thought it was pretty cool, cause I'm just a sucker for events like these :D I joined the run with WeiSern, Darren, and Pragas as our team manager (because he can't run HAHA jokes :P).

We trained 2 days before, and the muscle aches and sores were still tangible! Not fun, my friends :P

But this is no ordinary marathon/run. The thing is, we have to pray aloud while running, as in pray for the nation and y'know, big things. It was pretty tough, but though hard to believe, the praying made it easier. It was an awesome event, because it shows that youths and young people can do great things for God :)

Left for Queens and studied at Starbucks in Borders. Did one Pure Math paper. Made a few mistakes, got roughly around 85. So unsatisfied. One thing that irritates me about completing Pure Math papers is that it's so time-consuming! Since one paper is one hour and 45 minutes. Pfft. Mind you, there are 8 years, which means 16 papers. 32 hours spent on Pure Math revision. Very nice :)

Sern brought me for a treat at Paddington's because he claimed that I deserve a break for doing well for my practice test! :)

It looks so repulsive, but trust me it was satisfyingly gooood :D

Haven't tried JCo's yet (I know, I'm so outdated). Bought one measly donut, which I chose, because it was so adorable! Look at its shape, like molecules! Heee.

Just finished watching the latest Bring It On;

It's crazy how much I miss cheerleading. All the strengthening, stretching, flexibility training, perfecting dance routines until 10pm in the school gym, pyramids, stunting, basket tosses, jumps, walkovers & cartwheels, split & arches, pikes & hurkeys, toetouches, scorpion & heel stretch, etc.
Every drop of sweat, and yes even blood, is worth it when you complete your routine at Nationals with a beaming smile, and hugging your teammates :)
Eventhough I left my cheer squad last year, up till now I still refer to Vivacious as "WE", not "you guys..".
I guess what they say is true; once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader.
